Hi Fee, I would have taken my bow, too, if the rain sang the blues to me and made faces at me like that! This captures a lonely rainy day...I for one love to walk in the rain (people can't see the hurt, then). Thank you for sharing this... always a keeper...

Ah,,,this is cleverly done....the imagination and images dancing with the rain are perfection...song of bird brighten the day with flowers in bloom....another classic Fee!

I love the way you keep in tune with your rainy day, every phase joining in the music with its own unique participation. The ending is super, too.
"Then rain fades out to a Robin's chirping

No more sad blues songs for a while
So I take my bow to an empty room..."

Wow Fee I love rain but lately

I love this poem actually I love the
Aroma rain brings but many times it also

Say Fee, to play your instrument, ain't those strings in the way when you try to blow in the hole? In Australia they don't put strings on it and the sound keeps coming out as a constipated bull sitting on a cactus! LOL
