When the bells ring out the sound of Angels

In that little chapel up on the Heartbreak Hill

As the raindrops fall like heaven’s teardrops

And the wind sways the lonely whippoorwill

When they say ashes to ashes, dust to dust

Will you for a moment sing our old love song

and when the first dirt clod strikes hardwood

Will you pray I found somewhere to belong

Will you visit now and then my grave site

To leave little Forget-me-not bouquets

Will you talk to my marker like an old friend

You knew from when we were happier days

Will now and then look towards the heavens
