This poem offers a "wee" bit of Irish humor.......

Poem Artwork

I had a horse named Glen,
he was very strong.
He pulled the wagon around
a bend, but where he went
was wrong.

Stung by an angry bee, Glen began
to run. The wagon rumbled and jerked,
as he galloped toward the lake.
I yelled "whoa, stop",,but it
was way too late.

His eyes were red, his mane
was flying, when he ran into that
lake. I thought for sure I was a
gonner, to a grusome, ugly fate.

The cool water soothed the
sting, as the wagon began to sink.
Glen bowed his head, the trembling
stopped, when he took a great big
drink.

I yelled "gidde up , lets go,
we gotta get out of here". I
cracked the whip, Glen jumped
and lunged,showing signs of fear.

We reached dry ground in record
time, A hero of a horse was he,,
But, it never would have happened,
if not for that danged bee!

Those danged bees - I've had a few encounters myself - even had to jump into a lake once to get away from them - and it was COLD!

Your picture reminds me of "My Little Pony", cute. This is just adorable, could see and hear that little wagon bouncing all over the road. Enjoyed.
