I waited and waited for the Fantastic Four
to come busting through my door
Days turned to weeks they did not arrive
so breakout plans myself I had to derive.

While watching Star Trek in the common room,
good spirits were replacing my gloom
There was a shape shifter in this episode
suddenly I knew how to escape my abode

Making a list of items I needed
I knew my escape would be unimpeded
Every night I collected the desert,
which would be easy to convert

Every Tuesday was pea soup night
in my cheeks, I stuffed it tight.
Wednesdays were deviled eggs
two I hid behind my legs

Thursday was golden ears of corn
were I put them would be considered porn
I waddled back to my cell
knowing no one could tell

I was amazed how something on TV
could ultimately set me free.
I set my stash on the floor
looked at the ingredients I got before

I mixed green Jello with pea soup
The color was right, a nice green goop
I molded the goop to look like me
and set it on the bed for all to see

Deviled eggs became the eyes
from far away no one would realize
and OUCH the corn became my mouth
after I removed it from down south

The next part was easy
I used what I saw on TV
and shaped my hand into a key
inserted it into the lock tenderly

The door swung open with surprising ease
Down the hall I snuck on my knees
Got to the galley as fast as I can
And formed myself into a garbage can

The janitor came and threw me on the truck
I would soon be home with a little luck
The truck dumped me on a pile of junk
I was free at last even though I stunk.

Now my search can start anew
For my precious love Goo!!
