There are trees where none were before.
Time changes landscapes some eroding, some growing.
Life flows in and out of existence as the cycle moves on.

He! drained of all that was and what could have been emerges.
Footsteps wobble on uneven ground.
He is blind of the Now from the long stay in darkness.
There are smells in the air but he cannot define them.
He laughs to himself.  Free yet still trapped within his own senses.
Has the Tiger taken so much or has he given up so much?
Is there more flesh then spirit left, and where is the journey anew?

Eventually his senses return enough to identify his surrounding but not his path.
It does not matter as he no longer cares about paths.
He soon comes across a patch of existence that he will settle into.
It is private and miles away from any kind of interaction
This is now home he states to no one who will hear him.
The decorations are sparse, One chair, one bed, one bathroom
there is no need for two of anything.
Years upon years pass and the furnishing never change.
The occupant however allows time to take effect.

There is and always will be the Lady within his core.
Like the seed that keeps planting and re-seeding
It keeps its place not permitting anything else to grow there.
it is the only flower in the garden.  He will plant no other

So is the way of growth and the Lady
The connection remains, not the depression associated with it.
Love exists without the pain and now knows the door chosen was the right one
He sees a life filled with love between Mother and family.
Something that may have been altered had paths crossed differently.
He is witness to the destruction of the lives of his own family,
and is glad it was not two families.

Would he love to hear her voice again, or see her again, or even just hear she is ok?
It would be stupid to lie and say no.
The cost however is too high to pay

There were two doors He had his choice.
What most do not realize though
is that when there are 2 doors and two effected by the choice of doors.
The One who chooses the Door also pushes the other through the other door.
There is no righteousness in either choice if it effects more than the Chooser
There is just circumstance, either good or bad.

His hope in writing this, is that
she understands that there weren’t really two doors in the first place
Not if family is to be considered.
He is deeply sorry for any pain he has caused
and hopes she will forgive him someday.
