Hello! You know who you are
Burning brighter than any Star
In a mind of Island Dreams
Decorated with fairy themes

Tis I the voice of long forgotten
Still smooth as Winters’s cotton
Speaking from an aged body of old
With creaking bones if truth be told

Memories wash like oceans crest
Take out some and leave the rest
Sand swirls with the left behinds
Till time settles in feeble minds

What is left is misty recollections’
Of magic, beauty and confections
Eyes still brown and hair even so
Lips of red that seem to glow

Eyes close to imagine a kiss
Never to come and always miss
Arms move to surround and capture
A body that would induce rapture

Wake thee up imagine no more
Life is moving to a new door
One that in dusk some acquire
Otherwise known as quit or retire

It has come like an old friend
Time is served to the bitter end
Yes a cycle is now complete
A new one starts bittersweet

Time I guess to finally let go
Something she’s done long ago
Oh But to end with just one more Kiss
Even virtual would be perfect bliss

Good Night and Fare Thee Well
to a midsummer night’s spell
