Dear Lord,
I cannot allow time to slip away.
I need to write my friends and my family;
I’ll do it today!
For if I don’t write,
I will become a stranger of the past.
So I must make contact,
because these times don’t last.
I must make more time for the Lord,
yes much more!
He created me;
this I cannot afford to ignore.
So I must bring this poem to a close;
what else can I do?
I have folks to write to
and I need to pray for me and for you!
Amen!
