Sorry-I Was Wrong!
I was wrong - as wrong as a bird brain flying in the air so carefree
I was a stupid moron to think that most everyone thinks like me
I was ignorant and blind to think that you could see like I see
I think that - Open hearts and doors are the best way to be
Sometimes we are burnt by others and suffer much pain
There is not much I can say about that and so I will refrain
But we all have a whole world to discover; a whole fresh new family
It’s really up to you to welcome them; just try it one time and you will see
There is truly love in abundance in our hearts and you will find
We will welcome you with loving arms most anytime
Once again, I was wrong - as wrong as a bird brain flying in the air so carefree
Yes, I was a stupid moron to think that most everyone thinks like me
Yes, I was ignorant and blind to think that you could see like I see
I still remain knowing that - Open hearts and doors are the best way to be
Love and Blessings,
Me

This is such a powerful write because it helps the one offended to "calm down". It,therefore, is an excellent piece to remember/use when someone has been wronged.
I can easily see huge walls coming down when someone repeats the lines of this poem with sincerity. Thank you for sharing it.
Continued success

but you, John Michael have the courage to say.."Sorry,
I was Wrong".....Salute you!
Now you need an inspiring moment, would the "Spring Walking
in Vaucluse Hill" do the trick?
Enjoy your weekend. Isabella.
