Ron Hull inspired me to write this poem. You know, it's not difficult to find places where we can help children in our towns who are in need at Christmas and the whole year through. But don't forget to take time out and enjoy the blessings outdoors that are free gifts meant especially for me and for you!

Our best Christmas ever was not spent rubbing noses at the office or drinking with friends. It was spent with children less fortunate than us. For they provided us with love and blessings that will truly never end. First was a special time making home-made meals in Crossroads Foster home for teenage boys. Several days were spent shopping and wrapping presents for homeless kids that had few toys. Another time was singing and giving gifts to the special needs children in the Buckingham School. All these moments were blessings and moments in time so heartwarming and cool! It was also great to go outside, relax and watch the formations of the clouds above. No two formations of clouds are alike! It’s another free priceless gift... Provided by the treasure chest of The Lords creativity and love. So when we need to get a lift... All we need to do is give to others who have less. Then when we need a gift of love. All we need to do is look up and the Lord with do the rest! Those times are the very BEST! We can have special moments at Christmas and throughout the year through! So have a Special Holiday and Blessed New Year's too! ©2015, John Michael Domino

This is such a loving write. I wish more people were like you. There are so many children and adults that need help and love. Every day is a trial for them. Especially the little ones that I see each day. If I could I would adopt them all.

Beautifully written. Between you and Ron, I believe the most wonderful things could happen all year 'round. One of my late brothers used to serve in a soup kitchen for the homeless every Thursday. So many people would volunteer to do this. Heartwarming, indeed!

I'm glad you were inspired and that you care about people who don't always get the best shake in life. It makes me really upset when "right to life" people want children to be born with severe disabilities and then neglect them. Parents suffer greatly trying to care for them and many give up, relegating their children to public or private care.

The more that people get involved in helping others, the better we all are. And it's not something that should be done only on holidays and "special" occasions.

We can, one and all, take a lesson from this write John. Beautiful poetry, but the sentiment behind the poem was most beautiful by far . . .
