Here he goes, running one hundred miles a second trying not to get his feet wet

There he goes again, bobbing back and forth as the tide just came and went

He can amuse us for hours on end like an entertainer and a good friend

But when the night comes, where does he go?

Perhaps it’s his time to rest while another creature glows

So here is a fly that we don’t consider a pest

Some call this one a glow worm because it’s so different from the rest

Like the sandpiper these creatures are totally amazing and entertaining

When we were little we marveled at their little lights

But now that we are older, they are still quite a sight!

How great to be entertained by a bobbing bird by day and a glowing worm at night!  

So, God must have a great sense of humor!  Yes, you got that right!  LOL
