Poem Artwork

Mon Dieu! Quelque mèlange, pirates et Madames
I don’t know if I should be crying or laughing
Even the English that we kicked from New Orleans
Are coming with a pitiful noise he goes on making
A terrible of al mistakes, because he knows that father
Said that our family always follow the Elder’s whims
As he had teach us by using the buckle of his belt
And reason came after we couldn’t sit for a week.

Capitaine La Belle Rouge is in my quarters happy,
Her bravado was the rum talking, it wasn’t she,
And her crew is making my crew so felicitous
That war is a four-letter word in our bad dreams;
We want to do what is was done in the Flood Ark
That was full of every kind by brother Pee Wee,
The maidens will fill that island of mine in no time
And we will be waiting for Andy and Jersey Devil.

A lot of warring Ed-she’s are coming out like rodents
Abandoning, once a forty-eight guns, sinking ship,
Like that limey that want to call his pitiful armada
riding on Invincible, Britannia rules no more the seas,
if we see your lily white behind anywhere around
fifty lashes will put some lively color about it,
and we will send you back to withered ole Albion
without tobacco, but with plenty shame and no tea.

Dear brother Ed from that stinking place, your home,
Rufuz ain’t no wolf, just a good friend for companionship
So, don’t go menacing your other brothers with the mutt
We know that very long ago he lost all of its teeth,
But be aware that in that Ark coming from Chicago
Our crazy brother as a couple like crazy as Pee Wee
Which munching on the most precious family jewels
After forty days of fasting, to do us will not twice think.

Of Walt I have heard nothing, on his way to Madagascar,
Where I hope a hungry tribe of cannibals will wait for him
Nobody send his picture to my beloved Belle Rouge
Mom petit Capitaine, And expect to go away with it,
For the rest of your lot, ain’t no women in that island yet,
That I know because I already have thousand Musketeers
Ready to welcome Capitaine La Belle Rouge and her crew
And yours truly, mad and horny as a swordsman can be.

Captain , me Captain, Oh Capitan
D'Artagna Is here By Your side
To fight for the rights of all these
lovely brave sea going lassies
As I always say, One lass for all
and all lassies for one....something to that effect
My brave Capitan, To you I shall vow "My Foil"
I'll do battle by Your side side
Slash, slash, slash, Poke, poke, poke.
Death to all those blimey cruds to planks

Your 1st mate D'Artagnan

Quite a treasure Island you have there. I suspect there is some sort of Paradise there that you want for your own crew. Perhaps it is worth more than gold or silver?

ROFLMSAO!!!!! You go, Georg! Another posting elsewhere has it that ole Walt is now their cook and Love Slave (sounds good to me ... 'cept for the cooking part [even when I boil water, it comes out lumpy]). Let's see, where did I file that Love Slave Resume'?

Still you write well for a drunken, old globetrotting salted sot; despite the "piratical grammar". I'll continue to follow this epic battle of "Eds" from the "outside"--just to get the hang of the 'speak'. It's getting better.

Me either, Brother Edvard The Elder! Old Rufuz, Keeper of the Ancient Book of Ed, has finally validated Capitaine Belle's claim to be one of the Ancient Ed clan. So, in effect, she is yer sister!

I sure hope you and her were in yer cabin exchangin fond old Ed family photo albums - and nothin more, if yer know what I mean. The Ancient Eds do have a very strict Honor Code, and as the eldest Ed, I insist that you lead by example, especially when that very impressionable Jersey Devil Ed is around.
