I lost two New Yorkers Nam buddies there, this for them, for Cynthia and the children in Queens and Theresa in Brookling.

as they fell down like gray snow,

sorry for you loss ... i lost a friend there also ... i'll never forget watching the towers tumble knowing he was inside ... passed by ground zero last week ... they're building there but the progress is slow ...

Excellent, Georg. I can't believe it has been 6 years, honestly, it seems like yesterday. It is a wound that is slow to heal and a scar that bleeds again, each time the memories surface.

It is an outrage Georg. . .and the two towers will shout for many, many more years to come! So many lives have been changed, forever. Yes, haiku, "America 9/11", simply stands profound! Powerful write!

It was horrific for sane folk. For mainland America to be attacked for the first time, the whole nation must have been in shock.
I was up the empire state last xmas, the thoughts for families and memories were kinda crippling, being xmas n all...
