The world still goes around the same theme no matter how many generations we add to the list.
Daddy's little girl will always be Daddy's little girl, and for Mommy's boy no girl will be good enough.

Poem Artwork

Girls think in terms about a hunk,
boys, otherwise…they don’t think,
the hormones is doing it for them
life is wonderful, also a funny thing.

To the Prom his little girl are going,
with a wolf in a tuxedo who is aiming
to more than a score of dancing music,
he know, he was there, life stinks.

To the Prom her little boy are going
corsage in hand for man-eater with,
that Jezebel will corrupt her little boy
and she couldn’t do the darnest thing.

Chaperones all around, they are blind
someone laced innocent punch with gin,
its time to start grabbing a little lower,
girls do it to boys and, boys can do it?

Our girl in a new strapless dress was
eating her escort without cooking first,
while our boy hadn’t a clue how to score
he wasn’t a wolf, just a little sheep.

The Prom wasn’t over, but many had
kind of drifted to the shadowed beach
love was in the air, the innocent lamb
will lose a little more than his shirt.

Our boy will get that idiotic smile
that boys get after that final clinch,
a “Casanova” born on Prom’s night
girl will comment, “it was nothing.”

Daddy’s waiting the return, shotgun
on his mind, hoping that the boy didn’t,
while boy’s mother was more than sure
her precious little man had got a bad “it”

Prom night, the end of a long journey,
photos, flying hats, Diploma’s the price,
for the girl a new pink little cabriolet,
for the boy, a nine months surprise!!!

So I missed being daddy's lil girl and we didn't go to the Prom. We got married two years later and the baby came two years after that, and I stole mama's precious little man. Still got him 51 years later. Loved this piece though. Excellent Georg. PLB&G. <Mikii>

Georg,
This is a VERY Freudian write with much humor.
Yep, all the thing's that run through a Daddy's head about this sheep in wolf's clothing ring so true. We were all young once too....I think.

Cute write...And I've still got that smile...;)...Life is full of suprises...
the back of a limo,
the cabin of a yacht,
in front of a fire,
who would ask for naught.
