This is a child of wonder who seems older than his age. He shows mature facial expressions and mature mental concentration and mature emotional feelings. The way he tilts his head seems that he is recovering some view he had lost to distance as the train picked speed. But he still waves despite diminishing sight of the loved one. And the Haiku completes the story, exposing that side of good bye which we normaly ignore or avoid to feel. Well stated haiku and a great pic. Thanks George, love your thoughts very much
