Hope PeeWee Ed write Part Two and Jersey Devil Ed write Part Three, then again, I hope that all the mentioned below by the Editor will set the record straight and defend themselves from the bad-mouthing that I am sure will eventually occur....

Poem Artwork

THE SAGA BEGINS by Edvard the Elder

Ma kicked us from our dearly home
saying, “to live with your mother
you three bums are all too old,
and I am tired of nursing Jersey Ed
he can find for milk another cow.”

The Elder Ed, the brothers real old,
the motherly “take a hike” filled with
displeasure not only on his thoughts,
as he was conniving a son’s revenge
that included a few shotgun’s shots.

PeeWee Ed his Mom misunderstood
and went to the first recruiting sham
to be a soldier with a shining uniform,
forgetting he was part of three “angels”
and one doesn’t stick from brotherhood.

It was one heck of a very cruel world
that the mother had condemned all three
most tender of all obedient children souls,
a mother shouldn’t be so gregarious if,
solitude was expected from her three boys.

It was a Wild Wild West outside their home
that the three brothers suddenly entered,
the innocents had only a few mean guns
to defend themselves with much humble lead
and give everybody hell’s trouble just because.

Note from the Editor:

In the Wild Wild West the brothers Ed
encountered many perils………named:
Doc Bonnie
Tiger Lily
Birds Whisperer
Santa Fee
Salty Walt
Amber Medicine Woman
Lil’Rattle Snake Southern Comfort
La Belle Rouge Witch of the Night
Flying Fox Ted
Guns n’ Roses Rideout
Hanging-Judge George C
Brimstone Preacher Linville
Legion-Etrangère Emile
Scotman Lounsbury
Wild Life Marcia
Rufuz the Camping-wagon Wolf
and many more…

I owe you an appology and I will do my best to get caught up. The past few weeks have been nothing short of a nightmare, but now the clearing ensues. Now to begin at the beginning of this "Wild West Escapade"...

Now would I harm all these three from a tree right near to me? For mothers milk is on their breath and never would I put them to death. Or would I?

I'll just lean back chewing on a straw
scratching my nuts and spitting tabbakie on the floor
whittling my time away, as I mentally enjoy the oncoming sagas
Of the brothers Ed
Peace be with you all brothers ED

Oh Oh -- "Wild Life Marcia" may swoop in with lunging bungees. And, shhhh, don't tell, but Rufuz is a gaunt and ghastly special forces spy wriggling his way among the wily banditos.
