Despite many admonitions the Halloween poetry has been poorly represented by the poets response to the challenge, if I knew better I would say that I am surrounded by a bunch of illiterate zombies that aren't worth to come near my Dark Happy Castle!

Poem Artwork

We offer at the Castle of All Darkness in Sweden
a variety of weirdos imported from another world
like that fellow by the name of TomKat Hyland
that we haven’t to describe him not a single word,
he likes to drink magic instant glue by the gallon
but it can’t seem of talking his tongue can’t stop!

Making his entrance by one of our dirty chimneys
there will be Mark Lichterman wearing a black top,
a roofs meandering creature footed like a cat
and a darker mischievous soul as they can come,
he was invited as the Shadows Master of Soot
to sprinkle coffins, as wishes the Mansion’s Lord.

No Castle that has any decent illustrious story will
don’t have a proper drooling vulture perched around,
so we imported from the Revolting Canadian Plains
a Ray Hamilton Buzzard, escaped from The mouth,
which one of the good mannered Witches grabbed
as the dumbest bird was flapping all on his own.

Well, being the good neighbors we are to Canadians
we couldn’t let a deranged make believe Santa go,
so we invited Felix Perry Santa Fee with a guitar
to scrape some evil tunes and then gargle us a song,
no that he will be worth any New Scotia salt, but
cos, the deaf around here will appreciate his noise!

From Arizona will always coming a tanned Art Sun
eloquent specimen for why you shouldn’t have a son,
cos girls are more pretty and loyal to her Daddy
than the brat that total your new car at his first go,
we will see if he’s coming wearing a saguaro outfit
just to be poisonous needle prickling mean with us all.

From the goose marching land of no flying quacks
we will have on site a most devilish of a Herr Doktor,
answering to the alias Peter Schlosser The Impaler,
a colonoscopy wizard coining the phrase “up yours”
as he attended an unsuspecting IRS bending clerk
that had audited our good quack the week before!

What a nice, I think, way to bring the names of friends into your weird and wonderful writings. If I were a bit thinner, coming in through the chimney wouldn't be so darn tight... Yaght! Gotta go take a shower now.
Your friend, Mark

Georg I thought you were the clown, my mistake :)
I hope I don't start drooling, would that be a sign of BIRD FLU ?

Now Georg, I thought you said there was going to be entertainment. Well I guess a drooling vulture would be mildly entertaining. Patrick

You know Lord EDvard, I travel, as you know... with several amenities. I have a wooded tumbrel I acquired in the heart of Zargoza, Spain back in 1742 with thorns of briar to lay those menservants upon...I am at your beckon if you so desire my assistances in offering them their freedom…I shall also suggest some delightful torments of my faithful Peruvian giant yellowleg centipedes to crawl upon their flesh….

with the depths of darkness as my shroud of hidden spies:

P.S.!! That Is A MOST HORRIFYING Photo!
