When life pursuits intended toward happiness instead lead to dispair and isolation

Within this house with walls of stone
Lay fears that seek escape
However, it cannot let air and sun
Find this truth with shrouded face

Instead the faceless wanderer
Walks darkened halls alone
Watching ever watchful of
Tomorrow’s newest pain

Alone and ever all alone
With loves temptation near yet far
