Sometimes I doodle...

Doodle by h. lena jones Doodle, doodle, doodle Everyone doodles at one time or another Especially when talking on the telephone Some doodles can be just scratches Some doodles are just circles Or any geometrical shape That the pen or pencil Decides upon! Last night I Was engaged in a Relaxing long-distance phone call With my Christian Writing course teacher Talking about spiritual enlightenments And all my writing instrument kept doing Was doodle, doodle, doodle When at last the phone call ended Which was more than an hour later I looked at my doodle and whispered �WOW! That�s some doodle� I thought I would post it Just for fun! Would anyone else like to share their doodle C�mon, let�s put our doodle art on display Could be much better, heaps better Than going to any old art gallery Don�t you agree?

What a great doodle, AND poem! I'm a doodler, too, but not as profound as you. btw, is that a 'puter hookup in one of the roots to the left? Just wondering :o)

I'm a yankee doodler, Lena, and I see that your Spiritual ROOTS are very deep in this one! Outstanding...

Doodling is a specific way of helping children to "out" their pain and frustration, etc. OR... joy! My grandson, Mr. NICKerbocker,
3 1/2, and I get a huge piece of plain white paper and put it across the kitchen table. Then we each pick a crayon, and we go on the most fabulous trips together!!! Then he takes the drawing home to show his mommy and daddy, and he excitedly tells them all about it,,,and they don't understand a word! LOL

You are priceless, Lena...as always.
