T.G.I.F., Thank God It’s Friday that’s what some say.

It’s the last day of the work week, not just any day.

Friday can be scary, take Friday the thirteenth for instance.

Some say that is an unlucky day because things happen by chance.

But in all honesty Friday is like any other day, it’s no different than Monday or Tuesday.

In reality it is nothing more than the day that comes after Thursday.

Good Friday has a religious meaning to it.  A sad meaning I must admit.

They hung an innocent man high on a tree to pay for sins the world did commit.

So why make a big deal out of Friday?

I believe it is just another day of the week I’d say.

But, when I awoke I said a prayer of thanks

Because God has given me another day.
