I was in a light-hearted mood today so I wrote the following.

An Animated Character

If asked, “Who is your favorite character,” I must admit I would say Superman.

When I was a kid I must admit I was probably his number one fan.

There is a character, though who I may overlook as a favorite or number one.

That character was Donald Duck, an animated character in more ways than one.

He was downright volatile, even explosive as his passion would stimulate.

The more excited he then became the more his fervor would accelerate.

When the kids would sing, “Mickey Mouse,” he angrily proclaimed, “Donald Duck” with passion.

His personality never showed signs of indifference of any shape or fashion.

Hi Lew, As a kid I never understood Donald... he always seemed grumpy to me... now that I'm grown, I know why he was so grumpy, something we all earn, like a badge of honor, as we get older... I'll have to go watch him now... with a new respect... smile...

In Spirit,
Bear

The Wholly Book of Genesis by Jay Dubya

The Wholly Book of Genesis is a humorous satire on the first book of the Old Testament where the Story of Creation, the building of Noah's Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah and the families of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are thoroughly spoofed and broadsided.
