The current crop of politicos can be differentiated by the only worthy quote ever made by former Governor George Wallace during the 1968 Presidential campaign. When he proclaimed the ony difference between his opponents was, "tweedle dum and tweedle dee". Smoke, mirrors and falsehoods prevail. Problem is ... it's all gobbledygook, the empty promises - just once I'ld like to see a politician ACT on them once elected into office! They forget whom they serve - and the Oscars, pshhhhhhhhh - the candidates need to be presented with the Best Actor/Actress Award!!!!

The whole political scene disgusts me. The Oscars do, too. Just once, it would be nice if a politician would give us some pre-election insight as to his/her plans. Then again, it would also be nice if a movie that we've actually heard of would make the Oscar nominations. Maybe, in this day and age, that would be asking for too much.
