Honey-Baked Ham (Song)

-Chorus-

Gimme a hunk a that, honey-baked ham,
honey-baked ham...honey-baked ham.
Peanut butter and jelly, strawberry jam...
honey-baked ham...honey-baked ham.

You are what you are,
and I am what I am,
two peas in a pod,
is how we jam.

You'll be my Sue,
and I'll be your Sam.
We'll swat flies for supper,
as the swatter goes wham!

(Chorus)

Like bread and butter,
we spread just fine.
We walk together,
we walk the line.

We' re pressed together,
like a stamp and a letter,
scanned the batter,
but found no better.

(Chorus)

In the plate and the platter,
we see each other's shine.
On the griddle of life,
we do double-time.

When it comes time for countin',
pennies in the pot.
Know who you can count on,
when the griddle gets hot.

(Chorus)

Ronald-- do you have a tune for this? I would love to use it with my cub scouts-- I'm looking for some fun tunes for them to sing about getting along. --Charlie

Ron,
This is an adorable litle lyrical poem. Tasty sounding, too. I think the little tykes could dance to this. Maybe the next Wiggles anthem!

Thanks,
Jill

You are a wild and crazy man with great taste. I'll be over tonight with my plate and a knife and fork. I just love pig meat and this song/poem!

LOL, Ronald, this is cute! I'm not partial to pork, but still enjoyed these tasty lyrics - now I'm hungry! Well done. :)
