I thought of my brother while reading this...Lost contact with him, on purpose, for too many times he hurt me and mine while trying to help him face his addictions. He started at 18 and he's now in his mid forties...He now wonders why we aren't there for him? I am, but only through my prayers, some need to claim they have a problem before anyone can help...and another angle on this, could be, I AM there for him by grasping onto tough love!
