I'm with you, Ron...the poor just keep getting taxed to death while the big corporate entities and the rich have more and more loopholes to slip through...makes me sick! Nice little lyrical ditty you penned here, my friend!

Hi Ron,
From an outsider looking in, it is very hard to criticise a system that elects its politicians by the amount of money they can gather in, and then complain about tax evasion.

Those who buy the politician, buy the loyalty too.

I think that you have got a great slogan there; all you need to do is find someone to carry the banner, (For nothing)

For a little bribery has gone a long way,
and the tax laws are full of "giveaway."

And even worse, our so called 'leaders' spend most of their time (when they're not on yet another vacation) doing all they can to protect these giveaways.

And yet, the real problem is our ordered priority, predicated on the definition of success in lock step with the malaise of societal disintegration: STUFF. Success is not about money. Success is about pursuing what and who you are, where the remuneration is not tender, but acknowledgment of the way you've served humanity and most importantly, yourself, a few shillings for food and shelter notwithstanding.
