No thanks to Dragon and MS Word who won't allow the proper word for excrement. Don't worry, be happy, laugh and I'll be better tomorrow. Feel better already.

Warmed Over

I feel like shit warmed over,

of that there is no doubt.

It certainly could be the weather,

but I probably will never find out.

Got my Pfizer first yesterday,

can't blame it on that shot.

I felt like this before I got it,

won't lie, I kid you not.

It could be just low blood pressure,

from an over relaxed heart.

Could be good old gas pressure,

knee where my arteries start.

Probably just a compressed fart,

reaching these days, a new art.

So, I'm not going to go there,

let your imagination do its part.

So, if you're ever in the mood,

to feel warmed over like me.

You can join the club of miserable,

as shitty as you can be.

Great write Ron. I know a lot of people that got that shot. Some had effects, some didn't. Hope you are feeling better now.

You once again draw your moments with the simplicity of truth across reality. The ability to self reflect upon a wall painted by the rhythm of quiet amusement is a necessary skill of survival for those of us warmed over.

I LOVE THE PHOTO AND, AS USUAL, YOU GET YOUR POINT ACROSS PERFECTLY. NOW, FOR ME, A SONG ALWAYS WORKS SO, HOW ABOUT THIS ONE, RONALD; 'TURN YOUR EYES UPON JESUS...LOOK FULL ON HIS WONDERFUL FACE. AND THE CARES OF THIS WORLD WILL GROW STRANGELY DIM...IN THE LIGHT OF HIS GLORY AND GRACE' TRY IT, MY FRIEND...YOU MIGHT LIKE IT(SMILE). THANKS FOR THE SHARE. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS+INSPIRATIONS

I am sure you will get over this little local difficulty Ron.
Your usual effervescent rumbustious nature will carry you over the line.
As ever.
Wheels up.

Well, it speaks for itself. But for me, there ensued 3 days of virtual collapse. Felt like I felt after running my last marathon. That 2nd shot is a sleeper cell from hell.

Only you could find humor in feeling miserable. There is something to your reference to "a compressed fart" by the way. The Malays always told me that "wind in the body", as they put it, causes a lot of problems, even back pain. So, buck up, my friend, as in all things, this too will pass.

Well, let's hope for the best! I haven't had mine yet, just playing it safe. One step at a time.

Get well soon, sweet friend!

Guess we've all felt that way from time to time. Great poetry as always, Ron.

That's my club 'Miserable.' Darn this RA pain. I am considering starting smoking and drinking a lot so I can at least say I deserve it! Funny write!

Oh, you poor puppy!
Having a relaxed heart could be a very bad thing. Then again, in certain circumstances if that heart dies not speed up. Unless you're just too old to still think of "certain circumstances"

I had me second shot about a month ago with absolutely no discomfort from either shot.
nice poem
