So, this is the first actual Halloween
for my two youngest ones
They are 3 and 4 this year
And Boy! Did they have fun!

Deep in the woods, our homes are way apart
It took us over an hour,
just to walk 5 houses far
We told the kids to go half way up,
to a door, they fearly knocked

"Trick or Treat" in unison,
and this is how it’s done!

The oohs and ahhs for a princess
The whoa’s and Ohs for Darth
Every door we went to
a thousand dogs would bark!

My little boy, is such a joy
"Mommy, mommy, Look in my sack,
I just knocked on that ladies door
and she kindly gave me that!"

"Trick or Treat" in unison,
and this is how it’s done!

My littlest princess lagged behind
wanting to hold our hand
"Daddy, daddy, Can you come with me?,
For I’m a little scared!"

All in all it’s been a good night
A little Boo, and not too late
Fast asleep they all went ( Yes, and even Dad)

Now, it’s "Mommy Time"
while she sits and writes!
