SHAKESPEARE

And then the phone rang
echoing through my twilight
A waking me in my sleep
How do you do? And a voice spoke might!

I ‘m calling, telling you, tomorrow is the day!
Tomorrow? Who is this anyway?
And he answered,
I am, and everything you face

So? Then . . . Why can’t I see you now? , Why do you call me?
And a silent pause . . . erased

Because you aren’t ready to efface yourself, let alone from me . . .
and I woke up from that sleep
Justice and I were staring . . . into my bed sheets;
Red sheets . . .

Thinking . . . OK . . . Am I that bad? Do I face myself?
I looked into the mirror . . . to breathe, outerwear and weary . . . I am teary
I paused in a moment of yesterdays, when I saw someone other than me now
She was once smiling back, but how?

Now the world creates a furrowed brow, even in my sleep . . .
I have a purpose, I say out loud!
and yet, the vibrancy of my youth had diminished, and I never reaped . . .

Does it have to be parboiled in fervent worry? (Asleep for now, she looks beyond the changes on the outside)
What happens within that regenerates energy for a soul?

Wisdom for one . . . occurs regardless, we all have the same consequences
In the end we all die!
I continued to sleep, waiting . . .and tomorrows came 
And then the phone rang and it was real. It was Him, saying, "bye-bye!"

and I woke up . . .

Very intense and frightening in some ways, it is hard to control the contents of our dreams and teh ones that linger long after we awake are the hardest of all. Great descriptive lines used throughout Kimmy really enjoyed this one, even though because of colour my old eyes had hard time. LOL

Sounds like one of my nightmares, Kimmy! Mine never make much sense, at least in daylight LOL Cute poem of a dream!

Peeking inside the landscape of your dream one gets apprehension mixed with ecstasy mixed with anticipation...until the shrill ringing of the phone awakes the reader and the psychedelic world comes true.
Green, with yellow and rose hues.

Everytime the phone rings It'll remind me of your poem. Changing on the outside is good but we're to set in our ways to take it inside.
