Happy New Year to all of you!
Make this year your BEST yet!
2007 is almost gone. . .
2008! Bring on the Bong!
All in all, It's been a good year I'm still here Aren't I?
My highs were high, yeah . . . and my lows were low, the rain came, the sun shone Da dada' . . . dada.' . . . dada.' . . .
The bees stung, the bells rung . . . But, it's been a good year! Hasn't it?
I ask myself. . . What did I see,that I'd never seen? And, What did I learn that I never knew?
Whom did I meet? What tasted sweet? The questions to know, answers to, Where are our feats?
My feet? I just noticed them, standing . . . . . . standing up, here, for the beginning of a New Year. . . and I want to see more!
I'm thirsting for more wisdom and still gathering souls I'm so hungry for hope; Can't sit. . . setting new goals . . . stepping into my unknown . . . and, My! . . . look how I've grown!
I'm keeping the faith; yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, you've heard it before. . . But, now is my time to listen and do something about it! Isn't it?
It's been a good year! So, let's hold hands, cast all our fears and go forward! Look back on the good, 'cause, we should!
. . . and take the bad, back, where it belongs! . . . back to that Hell we created for ourselves! Know, God. Period!
. . . and then, everything that has stood for something since the beginning of time, will rhyme! ...From within your thoughts, naught? ...Well, just take it from there, and everything we need to know will flow as we go. . .
before we're gone . . . It's been a good. . . BONG!
...to live within the moment...would be a good year...good or bad...the clock ticks...with renewed hope on one day...at the stroke of midnight.

Yes, it's been quite a year my friend...I like the thought and the line, I'm still here aren't I? I am with you on this one...I'm just glad to be here and be alive! Things can always be worse, for I have a home, a job, family, friends, church, health, and so much more...what more coul one ask for? Inspiring write my friend...I hope that 2008 brings you as much and more happiness than 2007...

The years just fly by, don't they, Kimmy??? Especially as we age! SLOW DOWN, will ya, Father Time?? I'm too young!! LOL My body may be old (or so it tells me; having disabillities and health issues does that), but my mind is young! LOL Very well penned; happy New Year to you!!
