Like waiting for the plane the plane...

Poem Artwork

I heard it on the news
We're waiting for the snow
Waiting for the snow
I don't think so
It is Winter, after all
It isn't Summer or Fall
Let it come, I say
It is supposed to, okay
I can say that as I sit
In my warm house typing this

Who am I kidding,
I don't want it here
Why, you ask, 'cause this I fear
Driving in the slippery stuff
Of snow, I've had enough
The snow the snow
Back to bed I go

You too, Lynn? We're supposed to be getting a foot or more tonight and all day tomorrow! I'm getting so I hate the snow ... the Keys are starting to look better and better, the older I get. Your poem is refreshing and it made me smile!
Love,
CJ
