Poem Artwork

Among the dunes in  windswept reverie
While waves of thought came over me
I opened my eyes and what did I see

A Judi knight with no armor on his girth
Dressed only in the skin of his birth
And of his manhood there was no dearth

I didn't worry that he might see me
With eyes hidden so he couldn't see
His wild mane covered them completely

Oh how I love a mystery to uncover
But this naked dude left naught to discover
Except the mystery of who was his lover

He held close to his heart a pen and pad
Totally engrossed he wrote like mad
The dunes  shook with the power he had

Until the dunes shifted with a start
The naked knight becoming sad of heart
As the sand took the glow off his private parts

Eileen, I just noticed this on the hot board and thought Jude's title and yours were close enough that I had to check this out (still haven't checked out his poem. Next on my list I suppose). I'm with Ch'erie, ROFLMBO. I logged in just to tell you that you've given me a reall belly laugh. And what's with the half-naked pics? Oh, he's cute so we love him. Thank you, eT. LOL Everytime I read it I crack up again. ~~Nordette

Now I'd like to see if the hot OZ sun would give him a glow of another sort, like a red one, hehe, even dark skins burn in this hot place.. Challenging thought eh.
My OH burns and he is darkskinned, but usually after an hour of so innit, me, I'm lobster after half and hour in midday sun, so I stay out of it, it' deadly here i kid you not.

FOTFL, You know how us poets are we like to commune with nature au natural. Anyone whose ever gotten sand in their bathing suit knows better than sit on a sand dune that way.

the madman poet, the natural man, the dune-covered dude... this has got 'em all. will the naked knight be reinstated to his full glory, glow and all? will he pen another dune-inspired write? will she? I can think of no better way to spend my time than to tune in tomorrow and see. Dawn

:):):) I love the gentle fun you poke at this mighty dude, Eileen. It's refreshing to watch the blatantly 'powerful' being reduced to mere mortals :)

Plus, I've always enjoyed aliterations...you made my day.
