Indeed off you totter. but why is it that in so much text and films we see them when only maidens are supposed to see unicorns.

Eileen, when I woke up on Jan. 1st I was pleased to no end to be greeted by a rainbow over the southeast side of town...I took this as a good sign.

Eileen, you've hit a soft spot in this crusty old heart, unicorns -- my eldest granddaughter was fascinated by unicorns when a wee child --at one point in time when she was five or six, I asked her what her favorite animal was -- her reply, unicorns, still not realizing they were mythical, imaginary creatures -- now in her teens, we still get a good laugh when we talk about unicorns -- your poem is perfectly mystical and painted with a brush of great love and beauty -- I hope your ride is as fascinating as your wonderful poem my friend -- peace and love be always with you -- Jon Michael

Isn't it grand to have such fantastic sights going on in our heads!!! You describe something only a writer can see. It is vivid in color descriptions and I can hear the creatures of this area and feel the energy of the Unicorn. Nicely written ET I enjoyed this one..
