I carry a pen where ever I go
It stopped writing at 40 below
Took out a match and lit the end
Blue ink dripped from my pen
I tried to write in the snow
But I can't take it when I go
Thought about a piece of ice
Would have melted this I know
I sit here frozen in my own thought
A Dictaphone I should have brought
All my thoughts are just for you
As I warm myself in this igloo
I heard the dogs then saw the sleigh
He said jump in we should go no delay
Thought of the dogs the team and the men
What I would give for a good working pen
A humorous and clever write my friend! You'll have to get one of those voice recorders, I got myself one...I don't get lost in the parking lot like the lady does on the commercials, but it's great for quick ideas that pop into your head while driving! Enjoyed this one my friend!
