Back To The Days Of Beat Poetry

Fondue You
By La Belle Rouge

I loved you Cheese
before you molded
and corrupted the air around you
with the stench of social stagnation.
Cheese you stink
you moldy degenerate
societal blight wrapped in cellophane.
You thought just because
you are part of,
you belong
to the basic food groups
we'd be forced to eat you
long after your expiration date.

Cheese you are nauseating
maggot-infested garbage.
You stink worse than the unwashed
hairy poets in the Cavern.
I protest you cheese.
I speak for the masses
huddled together in damp dark caves.
Screw you, do you,
in a fondue stew fit for filthy pigs.
We don't greet you
Neanderthals wouldn't eat you
Snub you, club you
pelt you, melt you into oblivion
into an odorous mass of goo.
And the beat goes on My Brothers
while Cheese disentigrates to nothing
in the city dump

Now where's my doorprise Pee Wee Ed?

This is brilliant, Belle. I very much like your upbeat Fonda's Fitness approach to the downbeat, deadpan pseudo-satirical drum Beat of the serious subject of Cheese. Tis all enough to make a caveman Howl. Make sure you don't let em all wolf your prize exhibit: Emmenthal for the Neanderthals... :)) K xx

And Belle bids you a fond-a-do you cave people know anything about bathing? Woops, that's the cheese smelling.

You don't win the door prize, Belle, you win the Grand Prize - a trip to Limburg-or is it to Hawaii?

*applause and whistling* O, I love this: definately a Ginsberg-ian flavor, bold, sassy, I second you as winner! Well done, La Belle.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Ginsberg is one of my faves, as is Pablo Neruda: as are you: you're on a roll!
