At least two ways, if not more, of looking at this and great writing often challenges and stimulates in this manner; to fight for, to win, to lose are all part of the process and what do we gain? Nothing perhaps, apart from the experience, or something that was worth fighting for in the first place and the reason we did. It's a question I've been unsure about for a long time but I love that you stir the debate so eloquently here.

nothing sure ain't worth nothing... it's always of value somewhere AND it's free! Wonderful Kristofferson quote, but the words of your poem match it, together with the visual and music. A beautiful and elevating combination. Though the tone and mood are all for letting go, I indeed find the miraculous lift of which you speak in the air between your tender, open-hearted lines.
