An Enchanted Celtic Christmas Tale Part 2
By La Belle Rouge

Wandering deeper into the forest of snow
She tried desperately to find her way home
The path this way or that? She didn’t know
She continued walking and feeling quite alone.
The silver moon rose, for the day was spent
And the darkness fell around the deep wood
‘Twas a clearing close by to where she went
Did she hear dancin? She thought she could
The drums they rolled, the pipes they played
All the leprechauns sang and joyfully shouted
She determined through the night to stay
to see their dancing that so widely was touted
they pranced around in their suits of green
The first and only wee folk she’d ever seen!

Nice "square" format (hehe). Great tale of lostness and foundness. Enchanting!

Peace,

Dayvid

The leprechaun's usual garb fits the Christmas theme quite well. I hope she is warmed by the experience and doesn't freeze to death in the woods.
