A Day At The Beach

Summer day hot as hades
so we headed to the beach
had our Hawaiian shirts on
and iced beer within reach

the yellow sun was bright
and the blue water was cool
we saw her at a distance
started acting like two fools

we howled like we do at sirens
when they pass by in the night
her walk was smooth and sexy
and her curls were looking right

obviously a high maintenance girl
she sported a fancy salon cut
we were two pedigreed Poodles
neither one of us were mutts

we both let out a loud sigh
our resistance was completely done
looked at each other and whimpered
“Look at the pom poms on that one!”
