Silence

Today I sat in total silence
waiting for your words to speak.
I glance around searching for you
your many images I seek.

Your inspirations hiding from me
come back to me no time to play.
I need the words to tell a story
not next week but now today.

I want to speak of full moons glowing
of falling stars and dreams come true ,
of whispering winds and rushing water
of winter storms and morning dew.

Now I’ll climb this giant mountain
to search for you there in the clouds.
From the top I’ll shout intentions
my muse of you I am so proud.
