High blue cloudy sky
Friendly breezes meet the eye.
Trees that sway from side to side
Tossing leaves that gently glide.
Diving quickly down to land
Glides across the cool wet sand.
Slides into the flowing river
This late in fall, makes me shiver.
A spider climbs upon it’s back
Moves far from home, forgets to pack.
He lands upon a sandy beach
Heads for a branch he cannot reach.
Out of the tree a robin swoops
And eats that tiny spider ... OOPS!!!!
