Touch the sky just once, for me, Now that you are flying free. Touch the sky and let God know, I miss you on Earth, below. Touch the sky you've touched my heart, Your passing ripped me apart. Touch the sky and help me find Peace and rest, please calm my mind. Touch the sky and ease the grief, I'm so sad... your life, too brief. Touch the sky and send a Light, let me see your star, tonight. Touch the sky just once, for me, Now that you are flying free.

Visual and words absolutely heart-piercing, Karla! Says it all - and more... wish those of us left here could have the far-sighted vision and wisdom of that high-flying, prophetic Eagle!
This is beautiful, Karla. It's always a blessing to see even tiny miracles spring from tragedy. It reminds us that all is not lost even in the gravest devastation. Your gift of writing is another reminder that life goes on and love endures. Thank you for the sincere and kind words you wrote on my artilce today. They touched me deeply. ~~~Nordette
Karla, my dear, you have given the victims something no other poem I've read has... a dignity and joy of release, something we are all trying to capture in life. Your voice in this marvelous, bittersweet piece has given me my first opportunity to soar today... you did them proud, as you do for us so often. Thank you for speaking from your heart and in doing so, from so many of ours as well. This is beyond sublime.. katy xox.
I will never forget; three years ago today, we were attacked, and I shall always remember!~ God bless America again, and God bless those who were affected!

She proved them wrong...
After a long awaited weekend visitation caused by false allegations of sexual abuse, Glen got to see his children for the first time in over two months. He promised them that they would never be apart again and then they disappeared.
Made me cry! Reminded me
of my Grandfather! He would
have been 84 last Tuesday.
