As the sun sets in the West,
evening approaches.
Stars parade overhead,
the moon shines her face.
as night draws near.
Do not fear:  in the darkness.
there is comfort as
a blanket settles on
your shoulders, whisper-
soft and tender.
Loneliness need not rule
your nocturnal dreams;
angels keep watch over
you, guarding your sleep,
keeping you safe.

And so, let the evening come!
The sadness of the
day disappears in
shadow and hope shines
bright tomorrow,
