Well said Karla, too often our best young people are the ones who end up maimed physically and emotionally from wars fought that we really had no business fighting only to be treated worst then the people of the countries they fought to liberate of injustice. Time for a change is right.

if enough people come through on threatening to oust negligent members of Congress, action will be taken! however, it's sad how many citizens don't even bother to vote.

Rant on, baby girl; I hear ya...it is time for a change to treat our vets (including yourself) with the respect and dignity they so rightfully deserve! How the vets are being treated currently is a travesty; it's time we wake up and see what we are doing to our brave men and women! I am sorry you have had to endure shoddy treatement from a callous government; this should not be!! Powerful, needed call for change; brava! (And thanks for serving in the Air Force; you are a true American Hero!) *SALUTE*

Veterans gave their lives to protect their country. They need sufficient recognition and compensation for the sacrifices they made. I am really sory for the current state of affairs. It is inflicting pain on you. I stand firm by your side. Please keep voicing your sentiments and keep your hope very high.

A poem that touches the heart! I completely agree, something needs to be done and NOW. Our military on food stamps? Housing that should be condemned? Poor to none medical. This is a travesty and must stop.
