Mr. Pavarotti was an amazing talent, but the good news is that his passing is not a loss, we still have his voice having been recorded over the years which helps us celebrate his being here.

He truly had a perfect high 'C'. While I couldn't understand the words he sang, his voice never failed to spark a joy or feeling of tragedy.

I can just hear Caruso now . . . "Aw, jeez! I don't need all this competition . . ." Of course he'd be saying that in Italian, not bastardized Arkansas . . . Gotta love it . . .
W O W! Short, succinct, but says volumes! Luciano Pavarotti is now one of Heaven's brightset Angels; Heaven's Choir is certainly made sweeter with his powerful tenor voice! Yet we, his fans, mourn his loss; he will most certainly be missed! A soul-stirring tribute to one of the Masters of Opera; very well done! BRAVISSIMA! *applauding*

I hadn't even heard since I have no cable TV here. I'll have to listen in on the news and get a paper today. He certainly brought opera to the millions who never would have listened! You said it best, I couldn't agree more.
