thousands of words have been
written about love,

but not ours -

the way your eyes smother me
sticky.sweet to the sheets.
the way your hands s.lick down
the b.ridge of my spine.
the way your kisses th.rob,
removing all doubt.
the way the universe tilts out from
under to set.tle back into place ...

in each other's arms .. . ..

. . let us [re]write the books, baby.
