I hate good-byes.  They seem so ...
final, like in 'I'll never see you again.'
Maybe so, not in this lifetime, anyway.

You were too young.  

It's true :  only the good die young.
Especially since you saved lives
by losing yours.  Heroes, all.  

It's not fair.

You are missed by many:  your
families.  All of us in the weather,
spotting and chasing communities.

We lost three of our own.

This isn't 'Good bye.'  We'll see 
you everytime we look up into the
skies and think of you in the clouds.

Like early this morning.

27,000 lightning bolts lit up the
North Texas night ... it must have
been God saying, 'Welcome Home.'
