It's who we are inside that counts. Of course, you know that already, Karla, but other folks don't seem to get it. My mother used to insult me when I was little, and some of those images stayed in my head growing up. Very damaging. I expect we all have someone in our lives who doesn't understand what their words can do. You are caring and special in my book.
