I asked all of the same questions following my accident last April. Five seconds either way and I would have avoided it. Although, five-hundredths of a seconds sooner and I probably would not be here. My head came within an inch of a fatal blow! Be thankful it turned out the way it did. Thank goodness that "what ifs" are temporary.Take a deep breath. The sky is still blue and you can hear your own heartbeat. That's a GREAT feeling!

I believe in guardian angels and it sounds as if your nephew put his to work that day. We need to be thankful for our blessing, even our narrow escape blessings. :)

Sometimes no matter wot ppl say, or cliches used to comfort us, we still go "what if" I think we have to run over it in our minds, somehow helps to put in perspective! Glad you and yours are all ok, :)
