Speak out for those that cannot!!!!!!!!

Poem Artwork

A prisoner without a voice,
Trapped with voices all around,
My cell a cage, voiceless in my throat,
My captors deaf to my plight,
Deaf also to their heart and soul,
But they cry, or pray, asking God to hear,
I wonder, all things being equal,
Soon I will cry no more on earth but in heaven,
With my brothers and sisters,
Drowning out all other voices before God,
Now they shout it wasn’t me oh lord,
But he will not hear them,
Still they insist it wasn’t me,
He asks them, could you hear their cries, their pleas?
Did you have, unlike them a tongue to speak?
Did you help, with your voice, did you vote, protest, etc?
Don’t claim ignorance, you had a voice to speak,
Now because you did not, I, now not hear yours,
Your cries from Hell,
Will be, like a silent Bell.

Inside the bronze of your bell are many screams for help that will be heard the day God that bell will shake!

Strong,a warning we should heed. I find it ironic that you chose an object that is made primarily, if not exlusively for making noise, to silence. Good stuff, rather unnerving. Be well, Kathy

This silent bell is so prophetic and yet it can be heard everywhere....

Be always safe,

Too often the silence of the bells are deafening, J.H. How well you state the plight of the innocent creatures of God!
