The Veil Of Evening

Underneath the veil of evening
dwells a man child
He stalks around on all fours
looking for bits and pieces
of your beating heart.
He destroys everything,
He is oblivious to feeling anything,
but cannot rest until he breaks
all those tiny pieces
from your beating heart.
He plays like there is no tomorrow
He says words like he is sorry,
He preys like a stalking beast;
but still wants to own those pieces
from your breaking heart.
Underneath the veil of evening
dwells a man beast
He struts around on two legs
using his hands to finally
throw away the pieces of your broken heart.
He howls at the full moon,
He knows that time has come,
When he will have your heart
This Werewolf, knows just when
to strike and break your heart.
