Is this finality what life holds
A venture into final years?
Life so cruel not tot allow
An end dignified
In these the last of day’s fears?
Can faith survive
Souls revive
A mind unreachable?
Must the children
Suffer our demise?
Bear the brunt
Deny then realize?
Nothing left
Can they provide
Save patience
Loving hearts
Prayers
Midnight cries
Is the end not sooner served?
A slow descent surviving awareness
Memories now disguised
Days now reprised
A newness
A sadness
Endless nows
Dear God release me
