Comfort me I'm down and out I'm full of doubt On my knees Silent tears I cry alone Help me atone Still my fears Free my soul from this dark painful place Cure the heartache dry the tears upon my face There's no glory in the choices I have made Eyes turned upward can't you see that I'm afraid Come the morning must I face the deals I've made Touch this heart Take this prayer Take me where Love can start Cleanse my soul From dark of night Consumed with light Grace behold Free my soul from this dark painful place Cure the heartache dry the tears upon my face There's no glory in the choices I have made Eyes turned upward can't you see that I'm afraid Come the morning must I face the deals I've made Help me now, I'm begging can't you see Bloodied, beaten, driven to my knees Hope is only found within your reach Take me now my soul is yours to teach Comfort me In my despair Through crisis deep Set me free
